Departure from Bari at 09:00 AM:

Your tour will start with a comfortable transfer from Bari to Polignano a Mare.

Arrival in Polignano a Mare at 10:00 AM and Street Food Tour at 10:30 AM

You will be immersed in the unique atmosphere of Polignano a Mare, this charming resort famous for its characteristic coastal landscapes, sea caves and sheer cliffs. You will start your visit by exploring the charming historic centre of Polignano a Mare.

This is a tour with local guide in Polignano a Mare, the seaside gem that was the birthplace of “Mr. Volare” the famous Domenico Modugno.

During the tour, you can breathe in the Mediterranean soul through the typical alleys of the old town, look out from the majestic terraces overlooking the sea and photograph the beautiful views of the old town, such as the painted phrases and characteristic corners, the Chiesa Matrice and the Piazza Dell'Orologio.

The tour will be accompanied by a series of tastings of typical local products, which have made Polignano and Apulia famous throughout the world:

The historical caffè speciale - a world-renowned coffee variant created by the genius of Mario Campanella.
Famous focaccia – queen of the apulian street food;
Traditional “panzerotto” with mozzarella and tomato sauce – but also available in more options;

You can choose to add extra services such as boat tours of Polignano's caves, SUP tours, and calessino tours.

Return to Bari at 5:00 pm and arrival at 6:00 pm

My wife and I had a wonderful street food tour with Alessandra Fanizzi in Monopoli. She was energetic, knowledgeable, kind and fun. My wife was 5 month pregnant during this trip. Alessandra made sure to check on my wife multiple times as we walked the downtown historical center. The food that she had us try was delicious. You can tell she’s passionate about her city, her culture and her people. She has a very personal way to share this with her clients. I would highly recommend exploring Monopoli with Alessandra to first time travelers.

We went on the street food tour with Alessandra today and had a really fun time. She was knowledgeable and entertaining, answering all our questions, and gave us a lot of information about the food and culture of the area. The food and drink that we tasted were genuine specialities of Puglia and we also got recommendations of other places to eat. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.
